■ The Story
This piece captures a universal emotion written 1,300 years ago by the legendary Japanese poet, Otomo no Yakamochi. It is a poem born from a simple, pure wish: "This moonlit night is so beautiful, I wish the one I love were here to see it with me."

We layered (KASANE) this ancient romantic verse with a modern urban aesthetic. A solitary stray cat—representing the resilient "LIFE" in the city's blind spots—sits on a stone wall, gazing at the exact same moon that the poet looked at centuries ago. It is a wearable piece of art that blends Japanese classical literature with a nostalgic, contemporary illustration style.
